Dark is such a broad spectrum within Twilight Fanfiction, as are the degrees of dark. In much of the dark, naughty can also takes place.
Darksper blends into the shadows of a dark alley, he waits for his next meal in anticipation of the playtime that is surely to come.
A human Edward reminiscing over the bloody wild ride he took authorities on as he waits for trial. Perhaps it was Charlie that chased the serial killer known as Edward Mason.
The possibilities are endless. So show us what your dark little mind is capable of.

We have sixty prompts for you, take a prompt, write a story based off the picture prompt that you have chosen. As people choose the prompts we will take them down. So we get a wide variety of stories.

INVASION OF THE ZOMBIES OS CONTEST

WTF? Zombies? Twilight? Together? What a WINN idea! Of course it is. We've taken a few of our favorite things and decided to spice up our newest contest for something original. We love Twilight, Vamps, Wolves, and Zombies. So throw them all in a OS, and let's see what you come up with. Our braaaaaaains are overly excited with the idea. So pull out your favorite zombie flicks for inspiration and get those undead flesh eaters moving. We want to be terrified of your zombie invasion. Here's what we're looking for.

Contest Rules:

1. You're story must involve the Twilight characters (doesn't matter which ones) and zombies. Be creative. Turn them into zombies or have them fighting off a zombie apocalypse. We're not picky, but we do require zombies and the Twilight characters in your fic.

2. Length must be 2500+ words with no max limit.

3. Lemons are not mandatory, although very much allowed. Even zombie lemons. Yeah, we're crazy like that.

4. Collabs are welcome. Enter as many times as you'd like.

5. 18 and up only - if you are under 18, you may not enter. Sorry!

7. Any pairing is allowed. We're not picky.

The TwiWrite Twitter Challenge

We are having a challenge, being the ever competitive bunch that we are. We are in desperate need of a new twitter avi and background. We have been a bit busy with the goings on behind the scenes, so we are calling all graphics artists and asking for your help.

We are issuing a challenge to those of you who are into the fun world of graphics, and asking you to make us something EVIL!!! Bwahahahaha.

No, actually we're just looking for something fun and creative. We are having two different categories for the Twitter Challenge, and everyone is more than welcome to enter both.

On with the details!

Category One! The AVI challenge. We need a 200x200 avi of something awesomesauce. It can be sexy, snarky, funny, WTF is that, or simple. We just ask that it does not include anything offensive or full on nudity. We love the porn, (because along with being a competitive bunch, we're also pervy) but we want to keep the twitter account open and not banned for being too naughty.

Category Two! The Background Challenge. We need an awesome new background too. Same rules apply to the AVI Challenge, with the exception of the size of course. (we all know size matters) We are setting these two categories apart, but you are more than welcome to make your AVI and background match if you want. We don't guarantee we'll use them both, but you never know.

Because we know some of you are insane with Photoshop, Paintshop, etc. we'll start taking entries immediately.

All entries are due by Saturday, August 20th.

Winners will be announced Monday, August 22nd.

You may submit as many designs as you'd like.

Please email us your background and/or avi (as attachments, not links) to contests@twiwrite.net, along with any special instructions that we might need such as tiled backgrounds or color palates if you used them. We will test each banner and background out on the twitter account before we post it to the contest page. We need to make sure your dimensions are correct. (see below for more details on the backgrounds sizes)

Please note: Do not send us an image simply taken off the internet. The whole point of this challenge is to have something original made for us by you. Feel free to use any open source images that you might find or have, but we don't want copyrighted images submitted. We do not need a lawsuit on our hands.

The TwiWrite Admin will then judge each entry and choose the winners. 

Since it seems rather silly of us to award banner makers with a banner for making a banner -   >_<   - we are willing to put your name on the site as the maker of our background, and everyone gets to see your lovely banner/avi on the twitter page. Trust! We will not take credit of your work - it will all go to you. In addition to this, each winner will also receive a $10.00 gift card to Amazon.com. (We're in no way affiliated with this site, we just like some of their stuff)

In submitting a banner/avi to the TwiWrite Twitter Challenge, you give us (twiwrite.net) rights to use your banner/avi for as long as we like. We will not sell or share your work. It will only be used on our twitter account @TwiWrite and @TwiWriteUpdates and no where else.

Below are instructions on making a background for twitter if you are interested in dimensions. This is just a useful tool for you to use if so wish. You do not have to follow these if you'd rather not.

There are a few points you need to keep in mind when designing or altering your Twitter background to fit into the new site:

• The new design has a constant top toolbar that is 40 pixels tall and spans the entire length of the web page. For most designs, this shouldn't interfere with any of your elements, but be aware that this bar is always there. Also note that there is a 20 pixel tall space between the toolbar and the start of the two columns.
• The spacing to the right and left of the columns is fluid and will vary based on the resolution and size of the browser window. The spacing is also significantly reduced from the previous design. As an example, in a 1280×800 browsing window, in the old design, there were approximately 251 pixels on each side of the Twitter columns. On the new design, that is reduced to 112 and 113 pixels respectively.
• The Twitter sidebar on the right is now semi-opaque. The opacity is about 75%, which means that depending on what color you choose and the color or style of your background image, that can impact readability.
• The timeline column on the left is always 540 pixels in width, but the sidebar can vary. After a certain resolution (about 1130 pixels), it becomes fixed at 500 pixels wide, but on smaller screens or in smaller browser windows, it can be as small as 380 pixels.
• Because of the way the columns are now laid out, background images should probably only be tiled if they are patterns or seamless. Larger images are much better off transitioning to a solid color rather than repeating.
