PLEASE CHECK THE NAVIGATE THE SITE PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON SITE FEATURES!
NOTE: If you are using Internet Explorer 9, the site features are more than likely not going to work for you. This is not a site issue, this is an IE9 issue. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about it. IE9 has bugs that cause some websites not to work properly or look right. We suggest you use another browser such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari. These all work great with TwiWrite. You can find more information on the TwiWrite HQ.

We use the ratings system from www.fictionratings.com.
Stories are classified by categories, genres, pairings, and warnings. These help you to understand what/who the story might be about, what kind of content they hold, and if there is explicit or objectionable material within the story.
Yes, you can. We allow authors to list the pairing at the time of posting their story, therefore allowing the reader to use the search option and search for stories of a certain ship. Just click the “Pairings” or “Slash Pairings” link under the “Browse" block and it will list the most common pairings. You can also use the "advance search" option found under the "search" tab at the top of your screen. If you find that one of your favorite pairings is not listed, please contact us so we can add it to the list.
Yes, we offer forums for stories by category. We also offer a place to post your sites and contests that you might be running. Just click the Forums link at the top of the page and it will take you to the forum section of the site.
Yes! We know that different readers prefer a different look (ex, dark/light background, certain layout) while reading. Therefore, we have given you several skin options for the site.
If you would like to change the skin, go to Account Info, Edit Preferences, then choose the skin you would like as your default skin. Then hit submit. It will save your selection for all future use. You can change this at any time by repeating the instructions and choosing a different skin style.
Of course this depends on your mobile device and carrier. You should check your device and subscription services first, but TwiWrite is viewable from most mobile browsers. We do suggest using the "Vision" Skin while on the mobile site. It is relatively graphic free and is easier on the eyes, but any skin is viewable depending on your device. It is also suggested for those with vision impairments.
In order to leave a review from your phone, please uncheck the box labeled "Use tinyMCE" under the review box. This will allow you to write text from your mobile browser in order to leave a review. Check out this article on the TwiWrite HQ for more details.
Please see the Submission Rules or the Navigate the Site page for details on how to do so. This same method can be applied to adding images to your profile page.
