When Bella and Edward return home from Volterra in New Moon, and Edward asks Bella if she can still love him after everything he did, she hesitates. Bella realizes that the problems in their relationship extend much further than the vampire/human power imbalance and that Edward will never allow them to be equal partners. Alice assures her that everything will work out in the end and that her vision of Bella as a vampire has yet to change. Bella has to make her own decisions and follow her heart, but it will take an open mind to do so.
After her discussion with Alice, Bella falls asleep and wakes up in a time and place she would have never imagined. Far from home, her family, and everything she has ever known, when she is introduced to a member of the Cullen family as a human, she must decide how far she is willing to follow her heart.

YAY! I was not expecting Bella to seduce Jasper, but so glad she did! Hopefully his next step will be to go track down a preacher and drag him back so he can appease any moral doubts he may have - that way he can get back to sexing her up without any guilt! I know at some point you will probably take her back to the future, but I hope they have had time to build even more of a connection by then. Great chapter!

Great Story! I am so looking forward to seeing how the mating process works for these two! After her reaction to the thought of Maria being Jasper's lover I wonder how Bella will react when she finds out about how much he loved Alice - who is very much still a part of the family...will he be able to soothe her insecurity? Jasper's explanation about how his perceptions about slavery changed, and how he made the issue more relatable for Bella, were extremely well conceived and written. And I also have to say that your version of Jasper's story made me understand and believe his self-hate a lot more than most other fics. Good job! Best of luck on your move!

Due to time constraints, this will be a brief reply, but I do have some great thinga planned for the upcoming chapters. The mating bond shall be explored more and so will be Bella and Jasper's relationship.

Typically, I don't review unless I have something nice to say, but in this case I sort of feel like I need to just in case you don't realise how other people may perceive this story. I know some people get off on never-ending angst, but I'm not one of them. I didn't like the way the story ended without any resolution for Bella. I feel like Bella was shit on for 18 years while J/A got a sweet little HEA. Maybe it was because it was never really indicated that Bella had anything else going on but being a mother to Parker. How sad. I don't believe that a woman has to have a man to be happy, but could you - idk- maybe have had her become a world traveler, develop a passion that became a lucrative career, or find herself a fun and fabulous group of friends? I know it's just a story, but that's sort of the point...it's fiction...why not make the story a little more hopeful and inspiring? Why have it begin, build, and end with the heroine being unhappy and punished by a cheating spouse? Sorry, I definetely think you have some writing skill, I just think maybe this plot ended before it should have. I just wish I'd known this was gonna be some sort of passive/agressive hate-on-Bella fic before I started it.

Good story so far. I was almost certain that the first chapter was a "scene" set up by a married Carlisle and Bella acting out a fantasy. I was happy to see the story continue! It will be interesting to see where you go with this plot...will the conflict be a May/December romance or something else...can't wait to see!

You may have read Renewal before - all of my stories were posted to FFN first. I'm just preparing for when FFN finally catches up with all my adult content and wipes me from their database. :) Then, this will be my new home. I'm really glad you enjoyed this one too.
