bio. Let me see...
I like to call myself a more "mature" Twilight addict, but I'm really not.and live in the suburbs of Chicago. I work hard, play hard, and really only relax lately by writing fanfic. I'm single, a rabid Chicago White Sox fan, a musical mish-mash (including the 80s and classical), and a tomboy - golf being my addiction at present. Vodka martini's, extra dirty, blue cheese olives my vice of choice.
My dream is to meet RPatz and have a smoke with him in a dark alley. Rob, please PM me here when you're in Chicago. I've got just the place...
I also dream of writing a trilogy someday, fiction, but unabashedly romantic, and slightly auto-biographical, about the colorful past of my maternal ancestry. Something with a happy ending. I haven't had mine. Yet.
My fic "Of Swans and Silence" won the Judges pick for the Darkella's Darkest Temptation Contest held by the genius of the girls over at "The Temptation of the Naughty Muses", a combined effort of The Twilight Muses, Jasper's Naughty Girls, and Darkest Temptations. (If you're into everything Jasper, or everything naughty, or both, you should check these ladies out.) To say I was shocked would be the largest of understatements. It was my first-ever contest. The fic is not for everyone, though, and I highly suggest if you're not over 18, or if you're my mother, that you DO NOT read it.
I have two other fics: Second Chances, a Charlie fic that's post-BD (which is on Twi and ff.net, and I'm beginning to post here), and I Will Love You, a version of what might have happened if Edward came back in NM, which won the "Pop My Cherry" contest (which is on ff.net).
Finally, if you'll allow me, I want to just give a permanent shout-out here to my superb friend, Alexis Danaan. If it weren't for her, Second Chances would never have been posted.

Smirked at this one: Next to no time at all passed and I found myself tied, spread-eagle on Jasper's bed. Phew. THAT? That was powerful and rich and sooooo disturbing. Brilliant, brilliant imagery in the changing of Jasper Whitlock to the Major Beast. While the rape made me cringe, you wrote it in a way that wasn't over-the-top descriptive, and yet more than enough to make me hold my breath. Oh, and the cork? Fucking bravo!

First off, completely adored the view of Jasper as a child. I haven't read that yet anywhere, and I loved your take on it. So adorable. The whole southern flow of the chapter was just fab, and I lol'd at the "educate yerself."
I don't know why, but I loved this line: "Pa says things look mighty different when ya grow a few feet.
Oh, what are "hoe cakes"?? *says the Yankee gal*
The magnolias for Ma? I had a tear. js

So like, I couldn't give a proper review on the blog, although I tweeted ya right after I read this little masterpiece of yours. This is the first ditty I've read by you, and DAAAAYUM, girl, you can spin a fic! I was b-l-o-w-n AWAY by this. Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of my all-time favs, and I LOVE what you did with it here.
The perfect pace, the perfect build-up, the interspersing of journal entries, the slow revelations added only to my quickening heartrate. But OF COURSE it had to be Gizznut, I mean Jasper, who she's with, who she calls, no Edward in sight, but I'll forgive you that minor error. ;)

Such a well-plotted out, suspense-building chapter. You grabbed me from the very beginning and never once let me go. The inner monologue of Bella's was spot-on, in my opinion. But once the crew arrived, and then Alice, I felt like I was on the deepest drop of the fastest rollercoaster! ;)
I gigglefit over this line everytime I read it: Oh holy fuck, Alice is eating our classmates!
Oh, and this one:
I was going to die and the Prada Princess was going to eat me.
I LOVE the changes you made to this, btw. It completely works this way.

I told you how much I LOVED this POV the first time I read this, but I'll tell you again. When I first read it, I srsly thought you were going to end everyone in some horrific way. I loved where you took this though, and it's an interesting twist, especially when considering the law of economy of characters. I start wondering who will survive besides Bella? Or if Bella even will. There is one thing I'm certain of though, and that's that it won't be Edwards. ';)
